What kind of concrete should I use to make patio blocks in a plastic mold.?
QUIKRETE Fast-Setting
Concrete Mix or ready mix both work well but QUIKRETE Fiber-Reinforced Concrete is the best, is stronger and last longer if you read the bag its said the uses for example: suitable for fence post, sideways walkways etc, also make sure is said quick hardening mix, each mold require and entire 80 pound bag Fill the mold with 80 lbs. of concrete mix, trowel, and remove the mold if want to add color to your blocks use liquid Cement Color “the quickcrete brand” remember the color has to be done with the dry concrete at the beginning of mix before adding any water, Mix the color with water and then add to dry concrete mix. One bottle will mix with two 80 lb. or 60 lb. bags of Concrete Mix. Available in red, brown, buff, charcoal and terra cotta.
